About the Role
The Ross-Carlisle Group has been tasked by a Greater Northern Dayton organization to find a direct hired, full-time Calibration Technician whose job will be to test, calibrate, and repair a wide variety of tools, instruments, and electronic test equipment.
Job Duties
- Test and calibrate various tools and equipment per OEM or GIDEP test procedures. Equipment types include but are not limited to: Pitot Static Test Sets, Oscilloscopes, Calipers, Pressure Gauges, Tensiometers, Thermometers, VOMs, Micrometers, Power Supplies, Tachometers, DMMs, Force Gauges, Torque Wrenches, Scales and many more. Work performed in accordance with ISO-17025 and ANSI-Z540.1 requirements.
- Repair any or all of the above equipment, requiring troubleshooting of mechanical and electronic equipment.
- Research specifications, test procedures, and other documentation required to perform the above duties โ including very obscure and obsolete equipment.
- Research equipment required to perform the test/calibration functions outlined above.
Good solid understanding of electronics is required. Company will provide on-the-job training.
Salary & Benefits
Full-time position. $22.00โ$28.00 USD per hour. Benefits available.
